Eastern Europe

Hi! I'm Sabrina and I like travelling. I love to see the wonders of the world. Anytime, even right now I would. On this first post I would like to share my travel experiences. I would like to share some recommended restaurants, destination, hotels, activities, and cultures. Enjoy!

I've been travelling since I was little. The best place I've been to going around Eastern Europe. It was the best experience for me because their culture is very interesting. It's where the history of World War happen. I went to the Auschwitz camp and learn about the details of what the Germans did to the Jewish. It was a sad history for me because innocent people became slaves and told what to do everyday. They work the first thing in the morning and finish late at night. They have a little time to rest. The old Jewish people during that time didn't have much energy to work like they did in their young days, the German's told them they were getting a shower. The Jewish believed it because they it's been so long since they haven't shower, and when they thought they were put in a place, they were actually poisoned to death because of a gas chamber. It's really sad.

The good thing about it is the culture. The dancing, the people, the food. The people there are so nice, although some of them may be strict. I felt lucky I got the chance to go there. There were so many things I learned when I was there. The wind was perfect because, it was around December. I love the cinnamon rolls. That is delicious! I found one in Indonesia, it tastes really good too, but not as good as when I was there of course. My favourite place to visit was like a food fair. It's a certain area where there are food stands everywhere. My favourite was the pretzels, cream soup, and hot chocolate! There are plenty of cute and fancy coffee shop and I remember I stopped at a few cafes nearly everyday.

Most of the travelling were spent in bus, travelled from city to city, and all. There were some 5 hour drive and we weren't even half way and it's already past lunch time. The people during the tour and I were hungry, so we stopped at a gas station to get some lunch. At the gas station there were so many sandwiches and I loved it! There was also vending machines and keurig. I always go for the hot chocolate or maybe some ice tea from a can because I never liked soda.

The thing I like about Eastern Europe is that I get to see squirrels so often. I knew that before, but I didn't knew that the squirrels got close and even takes the food from our hands. It was such a fun experience, I got my hand touched by squirrels' little fingers, kind of ticklish but it was worth it.

There was this one time when we arrived at the hotel after a long trip being in the bus. The tour leader asked us whether if we want to go out tonight or not. Most of the people said no because theire legs hurt. My parents and my aunt wanted to. My cousin and I didn't want to because we were tired like the others too. So my cousin and I got bragged by our parents and we came along. We rode a public bus and train around the city. It was fun, until the we didn't know how to get back. There were no taxis at night. There were no people at the streets and the neighbourhood. It was such a scary night and it was so cold.

Then we found a couple who I remembered was from China I think having their honeymoon there. They rented a car. We asked them for directions and they know the neighbourhood pretty well. Because they were so generous, they gave us a ride back to the hotel. After we arrive at the hotel, we were all exhausted.

Few days later we went to Munich for 2014 new years eve! There were many people in the streets, fireworks everywhere, people holding beers and laughing, taking pictures and videos with their friends, etc. It was a crowded yet fun night.

It was the last day of the vacation there and we had to leave in the morning.

And so the trip ended, It's a really beautiful continent. I would do anything to go back.
